Site Selection
GPC can locate its power plant at an existing site or a location within a customer's landbank. GPC also works in partnership with land developers to identify and enable sites for greenfield development of a data center that can be co-located with a power plant.
GPC targets sites which broadly fit the following criteria:
• Proximate to multiple gas transmission and fiber lines
• Adjacent to a primary or secondary data center market
• Proximity to high voltage transmission (for sales of excess power)
• Timeline to interconnect to local utility (for supplemental supply / back-up)
• Access to water (for water cooled options)
• Preferably located in a competitive wholesale electricity market - ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or SP
• Sufficient land for power generation (>2 acres)
